What is Carrie's?

Carrie’s Pilates Plus, a woman-owned business, was founded in 2013 by Los Angeles model Carrie Minter. Carrie’s Pilates Plus is a high intensity Pilates/Cross Training workout; a combination of weight training, cardio and Pilates. Our workout is designed to strengthen, lengthen, tone and reshape the body; creating a strong, lithe and lean physique in less time than standard Pilates or weight training alone. High intensity but low impact, our forty five minute classes are programmed with muscle exhaustion and cardio elements in mind.

Our mission is to empower everyone of all shapes and sizes, help them achieve their goals, and keep them feeling great. The workout not only strengthens and elevates you physically, but mentally as well. Carrie’s will challenge you to reach your goals and support you with a team of instructors and staff ready to assist to their full ability.  Every class will be different, and every instructor offers their own unique take on teaching and programming the class. We offer classes everyday of the week, as well as private training, and have over 10 certified, amazing instructors on our team.


Our signature 45 minute full-body workout. Given that there are only two levels, this and beginner level, this class can be viewed as an advanced class. We do always recommend that first-timers take a beginner class but it is not required. This class emphasizes fast transitions (10 seconds or less) and extremely slow movements in each move.


This class is a great place to start as the instructor breaks down the machine and goes in depth about every move. Every move is broken down in detail and form is discussed in great length. Though technically for “beginners”, advanced students can benefit a lot from the form focused class as they will be pushed to go slow and perform every move correctly.
